3 (10 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth
1⁄2 c. whipping cream
1 c. uncooked quick-cooking grits
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine the chicken broth and whipping cream and bring to a boil.
Add the grits, and return to boiling. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 5-7 minutes.
Add the cheese, stirring until melted.Allow to sit for about 10 minutes. If too thick, add whipping cream.

I serve this with the Frogmore Stew at beach vacations. You can also use regular cooking grits but you will need to increase the cooking time. My favorite is Logan Mill Grits.
