1 medium size onion
1 lb. (raw) ground beef
6 medium potatoes (raw), diced ½ c. uncooked rice
Few sliced carrots (raw - about 2 to 3 medium carrots)
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar (granulated)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Fry onion in a small amount of butter for 2 to 3 minutes, then add ground beef. Brown till done. Put in large casserole dish (or roaster). Add the diced raw potatoes. Add the sliced carrots (raw). Pour the 2 cups of water over all this.

Mix in a small bowl the can of cream of chicken soup and the 1 cup of water. Pour over the mixture. Stir a little. Bake for 1½ hours (or more if needed to). Bake in a 350º oven.
