¾ pound ground pork or veal
¾ pound ground ham
1 c stale bread or cracker crumbs
1 t salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 t pepper
1¼ c milk
1 t paprika

Mix all ingredients together and make into a loaf.
 

Basting Sauce

1/3 c brown sugar
1/2 c water
1/4 c vinegar
1 t dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together in a pan and pour over loaf, making sure that the whole loaf is covered. Bake, covered, 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 400 degrees. If alone in the oven, decrease heat. For the last 15-20 minutes, uncover to let brown.
