1 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. carrots, sliced
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
4 c. cooked chicken breast, cubed
1 tsp. salt
1 c. frozen peas
1 jar dried pimentos, drained
1/3 c. flour

Biscuit Topping:
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion, mushrooms and carrots; sprinkle with flour. Gradually stir in milk and chicken broth until blended. Bring to boil and then add chicken, peas, salt. Heat through then pour into a 2 1/2 qt. baking dish and set aside.

Next, mix together dry biscuit ingredients and butter. Stir in the milk until just moistened. Place onto a floured board; pat or roll dough into 1/2 in. thickness. Place on top of chicken mixture and bake at 400º for 15 to 20 minutes.
