1 egg beaten
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1/2cup boiling water
1/2 cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, sugar, margarine and molasses together. Add dry ingredients, beat well. Add hot water, mix, and pour into a sprayed 9x9 pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 25 - 30 minutes.

My daddy liked gingerbread. I don't recall us eating it much when we were younger, but as Daddy was older, he'd request gingerbread for his birthday!
