Personal Notes:
Going through Grandma Homer’s recipes, I found this one by her mother. I don’t think I have ever had them. I never met Clara, but she was the story grandma told me to get me to wear sunscreen. Clara lived into her 90s (99, I think) with no wrinkles on her face because she never exposed her skin to the sun. She did all of her gardening with a huge hat and never went anywhere without gloves on. -Shelli Homer
