Mortadella Bread Sticks ( a Italian bread stick wrapped with a thin slice of mortadella lunch meat..."Italian bologna".)
... for the main
Roasted Turkey Breast, sliced and at room temperature topped with Tonnato Sauce (Pg. 98, Marian's Way) and sprinkled with capers Pasta Salad (Pg. 82, Marian's Way) Baguette & butter
Wine Choice: Italian red -- Chianti
... for dessert -- Truffle Brownies (Pg. 205, Marian's Way)...and Fresh, chilled strawberries

Directions: It is easy to find just a turkey breast at the grocery store these days. You can buy and roast the turkey breast 2 or 3 days in advance of serving. METHOD: Season the turkey breast with salt & pepper and put in a roasting pan. Roast in a 375º F. oven for 45 to 60 minutes -- depending on the size of the turkey breast....internal temperature should be about 185º F. on an instant-read thermometer.
Tonnato sauce can be prepared a couple days in advance and stored, in an air-tight container, in the refrigerator.
Truffle brownies can be done 1 or 2 days before but should be covered and stored at room temperature.

Notes: THIS IS A GREAT LUNCH TO MAKE. ALL OF THE COMPONENTS CAN BE DONE IN ADVANCE AND IT IS ALL SERVED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
The day of the lunch, all you have to do is take everything out of the refrigerator a couple of hours before serving. However, the Mortadella Bread Sticks DO NOT sit well. The meat makes the bread stick soggy if it sits too long. Make these just before serving.
