1 large onion grated
1 1/2 cups sugar (or sweetner)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 quart salad oil

Directions:

1. Grate onion and add dry ingredients.
2. Mix well
3. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and mix real well
4. Add small amount of vinegar and mix real well
5. Add oil and vinegar alternately until all are mixed in
6.The secret of a nice thick dressing is to add oil and vinegar slowly and thoroughly
