Flanken Style Beef Short Ribs - 1 pkg (about 8 Ribs)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tblsp fresh lime juice
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp Ground ginger, or use fresh, grated ginger
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 Tblsp sesame oil

Directions:

Mix marinade ingredients in a large zip lock bag, then add Ribs. Massage marinade into ribs. If I’m make a lot of ribs, I double the recipe. Marinate for at least 4 hours. Overnight is better.

Grill the ribs. They don’t take long because they’re so thin.

Serve with jasmine rice and an Asian slaw. Sometimes I save the marinade and heat on the stove to serve over the rice. Thicken with 1 Tblsp cornstarch

These are delicious! My sister made up the recipe after having some Hawaiian Ribs in Maui.
