1 box powdered sugar
1 lb. pecans, ground fine
¾ cup egg white (6 eggs)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites (have them at room temperature with pinch of salt) until medium stiff. Add powdered sugar all at once and beat 7 minutes more. Take out½ cup of this mixture for topping. Mix ground nuts with the cinnamon and baking powder. Add to egg mixture and mix well, folding it in a little at a time. Refrigerate overnight.

Roll out dough with powdered sugar.

Add:
1 tablespoon flour (rounded) to ⅓ cup powdered sugar. Roll out thin and cut with a small star cookie cutter. Dip cutter in flour and sugar mixture each time you cut out a cookie.

Place foil on a cookie sheet or use a teflon ungreased cookie sheet. With a knife, ice cookies, spreading the icing thin. Bake at 325° for 12 minutes. Cool before removing the cookies from the pan.
