2 sticks butter or margarine, room temperature
3 cups plain flour, sifted with
¼ teaspoon soda
3 cups sugar
½ pint sour cream
6 whole eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon almond
½ teaspoon lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Add flavoring. Then add ½ of sour cream. Beat well. Add½ of flour. Beat well. Add rest of sour cream and flour, beating well after each. Place in a tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cake is better a day or two old.

NOTE: You can vary flavoring (i.e. orange and coconut).
