½ cup sugar
2 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 or 2 cups nuts

Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add vanilla. Roll in balls. Bake 18 to 20 minutes at 325°. Roll in powdered sugar.
