and for the main....

Curried Chicken Salad (Pg. 70, Marian's Way)
Roasted Pecan Biscuits (Pg. 57, Marian's Way)


Wine Choice: German Gewurtztraminer or German Reisling (either of these wines taste really good with curry)




... for dessert -- Brown Sugar Shortbread (Pg. 189, Marian's Way)
and any additional strawberries left from the appetizer

This menu is great for any ladies event, such as a bridal shower. The chicken salad can be made a day or two in advance -- just keep all the components separate and don't add to the chicken mixture until the day of the event...an hour or two before serving.

The biscuits and the cookies can be made the day before.
