½ cup Crisco
1⅔ cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
3 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup milk
½ chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Crisco, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs and cocoa and mix well. Stir in dry ingredients and milk. Add chopped nuts. Chill for at least 2 hours. Roll in powdered sugar. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.

This was our other holiday favorite that Annie always had for us. However, does make a mess to roll each dollop of raw dough in powdered sugar. Be prepared.
