2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
⅔ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
1 cup mashed bananas

Directions:

Mix together dry ingredients; set aside. Cream shortening with sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix in chocolate; then flour mixture alternating with bananas. Drop by heaping teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 12 to 14 minutes.
