6 medium potatoes
¾ c. hot milk
½ c. sour cream
¼ c. butter, softened
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. ground red pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
⅓ c. shredded Asiago cheese (see note)
2 green onions, thinly sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Peel the potatoes; cut into 1-inch cubes. Cook in boiling water to cover for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher (or in mixer). Stir in the milk and the next five ingredients. Mix until well-blended. Fold in the cheese and green onions. Serve while hot!

*Swiss or Gruyére cheese may be substituted for the Asiago.
