1 lb. lean ground beef
1 med. onion chopped
14 oz. can Mexican style stewed tomatoes
1 1/4 c. canned tomato sauce
2 tbsp. canned green chili peppers
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 c. uncooked whole wheat elbow macaroni pasta
15 oz. can kidney beans

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet cook beef and onion until meat is browned- drain.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, green chili peppers, chili powder and cumin; bring to a boil.
Stir in uncooked pasta and kidney beans. Return to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until macaroni is tender- about 15 minutes.
