Directions:Cooking Time: Low 7-8 hours or High 3 hours or over stove.
To the slow cooker/crock-pot, add the meat.
Then add: chili powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, tobacco sauce, tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste (I did not use), red kidney beans, drained but not rinsed, black beans, drained but not rinsed and Bush's pork and beans with bacon and brown sugar.
Sautee in pan that sausage was cooked in (add butter if needed-my sausage didn’t really leave any grease) and then add to the crock-pot: onion chopped, chopped green bell pepper (I sautéed probably 3-5 minutes on med-high-still crispy.)
Stir occasionally. It fills up my large crockpot.
Serve with bread, Frito's, tortilla chips, sour cream, cheddar cheese, lettuce, etc) |
