1 16 oz carton sour cream
1 10.75 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 32 oz pkg frozen loose-pack diced hash browns
2 c diced, cooked ham (11 oz)
2 c American cheese, cubed (8 oz)
½ c onion, chopped
¼ tsp ground black pepper
2 c cornflakes, crushed
⅓ c butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
In a very large bowl, combine sour cream and condensed soup. Stir in frozen potatoes, ham, cheese, onion and pepper. Evenly spread the mixture in a 3-qt rectangular casserole. Cover and chill 8 to 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 350º.

In a bowl combine cornflakes and butter. Sprinkle over the potato mixture. Bake, uncovered, for 50 to 55 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
