Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/3 C. shortening
1 egg
5 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400ºF.

If you wish, sift the dry ingredients into a bowl, then use a beater or the big mixer and blend the shortening until it's in fine pieces. Add the slightly beaten egg with the water and vinegar and mix slightly until you can pick up the dough and shape into fist sized rounds. The less you handle the dough, the better.

Put the dough into the fridge in plastic baggie for 1 hour. Take out and bring to room temperature before rolling.

Use wax paper on your counter. Wet the counter, then use wax paper on the top to roll out crust. It's easy to pick up and easy to lay in the pie pan.
