1 lb round steak (cut into bite size cubes)
1 T oil
½ lb mushrooms, sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced or ½ bag frozen pearl onions
2 c beef broth
2 T tomato paste
½ c red or burgundy wine
8 oz of egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the beef in oil.

Add mushrooms, onion, broth, tomato paste and wine; simmer covered for 1 hour until beef is tender. After meat is tender we sometimes simmer uncovered to thicken the sauce.

Cook the noodles.

Serve beef and sauce over noodles.
