Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan then add cold water to cover eggs by one inch. Bring to a boil over high heat . Immediately remove from heat and cover and let stand 15 minutes. Using a slotted spoon transfer eggs to a bath of ice water and let them sit for 5 minutes. Ready to peel.
