3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
½ tsp baking powder
¾ cup walnuts
14 crushed Ritz crackers

½ pint whipped cream

Sauce:
2 tsp cornstarch
⅓ cup water
10 ounces of frozen raspberries or strawberries.
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º
Butter a pie pan well.

Beat egg whites until they stand in peaks
Add the sugar slowly
Add the baking powder
Fold in the walnuts and the crushed crackers

Put in the pie pan and bake for 30 minutes.
Let pie cool

Spread the whipped cream over the pie and chill.

Sauce:
Boil cornstarch, water, and berries.
Add the lemon juice and cool.
Spread sauce over pie when ready to serve.
