1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. Adolf meat tenderizer
1 Tbsp. molasses
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced

Directions:
Directions:
* Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl or large cup.
* Trim the tri-tip or flank steak.
* Place steak in a gallon zip oil bag.
* Pour marinade into the bag and seal the bag.
* Gently move the marinade around in the bag to coat the entire steak.
* Place the bag in a baking pan and place it in the refrigerator overnight.
* Turn the bag over every few hours to evenly marinate the steak.
* When you are ready to cook the steak, remove it from the marinade and lightly season both sides.
* Discard the marinade in the bag.

This recipe makes enough for one large or two small Tri-Tip roasts or a large flank steak. If you are making two large tri-tip roasts, double the recipe and use two zip lock bags.
