2 cups okra, chopped to desired thickness
salt & pepper to taste
Yellow cornmeal
Oil (canola or similar)

Directions:
Mix okra, salt & pepper into cornmeal.
In large skillet add oil about ½ inch deep. Heat on high until bubbly.
Add okra and brown on both sides. Reduce heat to medium low until done. Drain well on paper towel. Great with peas and cornbread.
