Bring mixture to boil about 5-8 min. (till just at soft ball on a candy thermometer)

The color will change to light brownish. The glaze will be very hot.

Pour and spread onto cake.

I swear Big Moma poured this on everything. Once it cools, it will kind of crack as it is cut.

This is Big mamas "icing recipe". She used it on the Banana Nut cake and the Apple Cake as well.
