Mom's Breaded/Fried Zucchini Recipe

1 zucchini
1 lg. egg
c. milk
salt and pepper
seasoned bread crumbs
cooking oil

Wash and Peel (optional); slice zucchini (a little less than inch thick).

Dip in egg mixture/milk mixture (for one lg zucchini, I use one lg egg and about cup milk) whisked and seasoned with salt, garlic, & pepper.
Dip in seasoned bread crumbs.
Place on a plate until you have a good amount to cook at one time. Heat up oil in a frying pan.
When golden on both sides, take out and put on a paper towel-lined plate.

*Optional: When on plate, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Dip in heated pasta sauce. I also layer it with cooked seasoned meat, sauce and top with mozzarella cheese, and use it in place of a noodle layer (like lasagna)!
