½ C. shortening
½ C. butter
1½ C sugar
2 eggs
2½ C flour
2 t. baking soda
¼ t. salt
2 t. cream of tartar

Roll cookies in cinnamon sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, butter, sugar, and eggs thorougly. Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. Stir into the mixture. Blend well. Roll balls of dough about the size of walnuts. Roll dough in cinnamon sugar mix.

Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet

Bake 8-10 mins at 400º.
