2½ C. chicken
1 lrg onion, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 chicken bouillon cubes
3 ribs celery, chopped
salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
16 C water

DUMPLINGS
2 C flour
1 t salt
about ¾ C ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken in top ingredients. Shred when done then return to pot.

Mix dough with hands and roll out onto floured surface. Let dough relax several mins. Cut into 1 inch pieces and drop into simmering pot. Do not stir after dumplings have been added. Cook until dumplings float and are no longer doughy.

If stew is too thin, you can thicken it with 2 T cornstarch and ¼ C. water before you add the dumplings
