2 LG chicken breasts or whole chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cup chicken broth (keep broth from boiling your chicken)
1 stick margarine (melted)
1 tsp Poultry seasoning
1/2 tbs salt (salt chicken to taste while boiling)
1 tsp pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
2/3 cup of plain flour

Crust:
Plain flour
Crisco
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking powder

Ice water

or you can use a prepared pie crust.

Pre-heat oven to 350º

Boil Chicken (and salt) until tender, cool and debone.
cut into small pieces, in a large bowl, add pepper, poultry seasoning, chopped celery, mixing evenly with chicken.
take a 12 x 9 x 2-inch pan or glass dish, spread chicken, with added seasonings onto chicken.

In another bowl mix together the mushroom soup, and chicken soup, broth (start with half broth, if soups too thick slowly add remaining broth) Pour over chicken, pour half the melted margarine. reserve rest of margarine for the crust.

CRUST:

In a bowl mixed flour, Crisco, salt and baking soda. Blend together with a fork until formed little balls, slowly add ice cold water
put onto flour board spread into pie shell, put onto chicken pour remaining margarine over crust.

Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
