2 CUPS BROWN SUGAR, PACKED
4 TSP. SALT
1 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
3 CUPS VEGETABLE SHORTENING

IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE FOUR , SUGARS, SODA AND SALT UNTIL WELL BLENDED. WITH A PASTRY BLENDER OR HEAVY DUTY MIXER, CUT IN SHORTENING UNTIL MITURE RESEMBLES CORNMEAL IN TEXTURE. PUT IN A LARGE AIRTIGHT CONTAINER, LABEL AND DATE CONTENTS. STORE IN A COOL DRY PLACE. USE WITHIN 10-12 WEEKS... MAKES ABOUT 16 CUPS COOKIE MIX
