1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 cup rolled oats
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup cranberries, coarsely chopped, fresh or frozen
1 Tbsp grated orange peel
1 (12 oz) pkg vanilla chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs,
one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in
vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda;
add to the creamed mixture. Stir in oats, raisins,
cranberries, and orange peel.
Stir in vanilla chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto
parchment papered cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes, rotating half way
through, or until the edges are lightly browned. Once the
sheet is removed from the oven, allow the cookies to rest
on the cookie sheet 5 minutes before removing them to a
cooling rack.
