Crust:
1 3-ounce package cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 cup flour

Filling:
1 egg
1 tablespoon butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2/3 cups pecans, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Crust:
Cream cream cheese and butter together thoroughly and then add flour. after combining, chill at least an hour in the refrigerator. Roll out thin and shape inside small muffin or tart tins.

Filling:
Combine all ingredients and put 1/2 teaspoon filling in each tart. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.

To make coconut tarts: combine egg, 3.5 ounces of canned flaked coconut and 2/3 cup sugar for the filling.
