2 cups sugar
1 cup vinegar
1 Tbsp salt
1 cup onion, chopped or half rings
1 tsp tumeric
7 cups small cubes, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl sprinkle salt over cukes and onions. Let
stand at least 1 hour; drain. Add sugar, vinegar and
tumeric. Put in a container and store in the refrigerator.
You can start eating them the next day and continue until
done (or 1 month) whichever comes first.

This is my Mom's recipe. Our family
loved her pickles and once they were on the tables the
bowl quickly had to be refilled.
