1c butter, softened
2/3c sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2t vanilla
2 1/4c flour
1/2t salt

Chocolate Filling
1c sugar
1/4c cocoa
1/4c milk
1/4c butter
1/2c vanilla

Directions:
Cookies
Cream butter then gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks one at a tie, beating well. Stir in vanilla. Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture mixing well. Chill.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls, place 2 inches apart on uncreased cookie sheet. Place thus in each cookie, leaving an indentation. Bake at 300º 20-25 minutes. Do not brown. Cool and place filling in each indentation.

Chocolate Filling:
Combine sugar, cocoa and milk in heavy sauce pan. Bring to a boil and boil 1 1/2-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Beat until mixture is of spreading consistency.
