3 to 5 lbs. of potatoes peeled and diced
1 large onion diced
1/2 to 1 lbs bacon diced
1 bunch celery diced
2 32oz. boxes of chicken broth

6 cloves garlic minced
2 c. heavy cream
parmesan cheese
sharp cheddar cheese shredded
1 tbsp. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Fry diced bacon, add onion. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of bacon/onion drippings.

In a stockpot or slow cooker add bacon drippings, bacon, onion, potatoes, celery and chicken broth.

Cook until potatoes are tender.

Add garlic, cream and cheeses mix shredded sharp cheddar cheese and 1 tbsp. flour before adding to the soup. Cook until cheese melts.

I have also added ground carrots for extra flavor. You can also put the carrots, celery and onion in a food processer to finely chop, give the soup better flavor.
