½ cup soft butter
3 ounces cream cheese
½ cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp granted orange rind
1 tsp vanilla

1 cup sifted flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

6 ounces chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350º
Lightly grease cookie sheets

Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar.
Add egg, orange rind and vanilla

Sift dry ingredients together and stir in.
Add the chocolate chips

Drop by teaspoonful 1 inch apart on baking sheet.
Bake 12 minutes until delicately brown on the edges
