Notes: When Brianna and Amanda visited in November one year, we took a trip to 'Living History Farms' in Des Moines. That evening, we donned our winter coats, hopped up on a horse drawn carriage and headed to the old farm house for a traditional 1850's dinner, served family style by candlelight. All of the meal was prepared on a wood burning stove, in the cozy comfort of a traditional home absent electricity. This Chocolate Cake was a favorite....the memories of that evening are unforgettable and serves to remind us that each thing that we choose to do and who we choose to do it with, create life long memorable moments worthy of reflection on family, friends, fun, surprise, delight and the simplicity of the experience that drives the magic. Advice....Create magical memories as often as possible for self and others!
