7 large apples, spartan, skinned
2 cups farfel
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup granulated white sugar
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp cinnamon
6 eggs
2 tsp sweet wine (Manishewitz)
2 tsp honey
1/4 cup lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
1. Soak farfel in boiling water in bowl.

2. Core apples and grate on large side of grater into large separate bowl. Add sugar and juice of 1/2 lemon and cinnamon to apples and mix well.

3. Beat 6 eggs by hand, in separate small bowl. Pour into the largest bowl that has the apples in it. Now pour the farfel into the bowl with the apples. Stir and mix well.

4. Pour into greased rectangle baking dish that holds 2.5 litres. Bake in preheated 375ºF oven for 30 minutes. Mix honey, wine and 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice in small saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.

5. When pudding has finished baking for 30 minutes, pour boiling mixture evenly over top of the casserole and bake for 30 minutes longer.
