1 cup butter
3 Tbsps powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅛ tsp almond extract
2 cups sifted flour
1 cup chopped buttered almonds *(see directions below)
powdered sugar to coat

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Buttered Almonds:
3 cups blanched almonds
2 Tbsps unsalted butter
2 tsps Kosher salt
Toss almonds and butter together.
Spread on parchment lined baking sheet
Bake for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain on paper towels and let cool.
Finely chop enough almonds to make 1 cup

Cream butterand sugar together.
Add flavorings.
Stir in flour and almonds.
Shape into tiny balls and place on baking sheet
Bake for 20 minutes.
Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
