2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2/3 cup cocoa
cup shortening
cup milk
tsp. baking powder
cup milk
3 eggs, unbeaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Measure flour, sugar, salt, cocoa and soda into large mixing bowl. Add milk and shortening. Beat for 2 minutes. Mix in baking powder then add milk eggs and vanilla. Pour into greased & floured cake pan. Bake until toothpick comes out clean.
