Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 tbsp. pine nuts
¼ cup EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
2 cloves of garlic
¼ tsp salt
dash of pepper
fresh squeezed lemon juice or zest (optional)

When added with cooked pasta:
1 ½ tsp. grated Romano cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Sour cream (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the pine nuts in a tbsp of EVOO - 45 sec - to release the flavor
combine nuts, garlic, basil and salt in food processorr - stream in the EVOO while you blend

Add cheese after you mix pesto sauce with pasta.

You can also use this sauce as a topping to fish or chicken.
