Ingredients:  
1lb ground beef or stew meat
1/2 onion
1-2 cloves garlic
1/2 green pepper
2/3 diced peeled carrots
3/4 diced peeled potatoes
1/4c barley
1 can green beans with juice
4c tomato juice or 1 can tomato sauce
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 bay leaf
dash parsley
seasoning salt
4c water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat with onion; add garlic, salt and pepper. Stir in water and pearl barley. Add carrots, green pepper, peas, green beans, and potatoes. Simmer until veggies are tender. Add 4 cups tomato juice or one can tomato sauce, beef bouillon, bay leaf, seasoning salt and parsely. Bring to boil and simmer to desired consistency.
