Carol's Oslo Kringla Recipe

1 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 c. water
1-2 Tbsp. cold water
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract

Layer 1:
Mix 1 c. flour, c. butter. Add 1-2 Tbsp. cold water--no more. Mix and put on ungreased cookie sheet.

Layer 2:
Heat 1 c. water and c. butter to boiling and stir in 1 c. flour until smooth. Mix 3 eggs, one egg at a time (don't beat them, just mix well).
Add 1 tsp. almond or vanilla. Add to above mixture and place on top of crust.

Bake at 350 F. for 55-60 minutes. Cool.

Frost with 1 c. powdered sugar, 2 Tbsp. cream, 1 Tbsp. melted butter, and 1 tsp. almond.
