2 cups flour
1½ tsp ginger
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt

¾ cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
¼ cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Sift the dry ingredients together
Cream the sugar and butter, then add the egg and molasses.
Combine the creamed and dry ingredients.

Chill the dough

Roll in balls, place on cookie sheet, flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar

Bake 12 - 15 minutes
