1 c. all-purpose flour
tsp. salt
c. sugar
1 egg
c. crushed peppermint candy
tsp. baking powder
c. butter or oleo
c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat butter for 30 seconds. Add sugar and cocoa powder; beat until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients; beat well. Stir in crushed candy. Shape into two 6" rolls. Wrap and chill thoroughly. Cut into " slices; place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 F. oven 8-10 minutes. Cool on rack.
