3 oz cream cheese, softened
2 TB powdered sugar
2 TB strawberry preserves
8 slices country-style white bread
2 eggs
1/2 C half&half
2 TB sugar
4 TB butter
Directions:
Directions:
Combine cream cheese & powdered sugar. Stir in preserves & mix well. Spread over 4 slices bread & form sandwiches. Whisk eggs, half&half & sugar in medium bowl. Melt 2 TB butter in skillet over medium heat. Dip each sandwich into egg mixture, coat completely on both sides. Cook 2 at a time, 2 minutes per side. Add butter if needed. Cut diagonally & serve.
