1 lb lean ground beef
7 cups of water
onion , chopped
4 carrots, peeled and cut into 1" pieces
salt and pepper to taste
mashed potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Put ground beef into a sauce pan and add water a little at a time mixing with a fork until meat and water are completely incorporated. Bring to a boil, stirring often to prevent meat from forming chunks. Add onion and simmer 10 minutes partially covered. Add carrots and season with salt and pepper. Cook until carrots are tender. Serve over mashed potatoes.
