1 medium onion, thinly sliced
green bell pepper, chopped
1 cups regular rice
cup vegetable oil
2 cups hot water
1 tsp salt
tsp pepper
tsp chili powder
1 16 oz can of tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet saute the onion, green pepper, and rice in oil until lightly browned. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer covered for 35 to 40 minutes. Make sure the rice is tender.
