to lb elbow macaroni
onion, finely chopped
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 28 oz can tomatoes, pureed in blender
tsp dried basil
salt and pepper to taste
red chili flakes
1 can pinto beans, drained
parmesaen cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in oil slowly until golden. Add garlic and cook 2 minutes. Add in tomato puree, basil, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Simmer uncovered until thick and saucy. Add the beans and heat through. Pour sauce over cooked elbow pasta and mix well. Serve with parmesan.
